    A week ago, after another seller bailed out on me, I purchased a Tamagotchi ID from Japan. The seller shipped it...however, it is still stuck at "Label Created; Not Yet In System". I checked their website's list for coronavirus delays, but there is nothing listed for my country (the United States). Putting it into the Japan Post website does nothing, either. Is anyone else in the same country experiencing this?

    Is it showing that status on Japan Post's website or USPS' website? Because if that is the notice on JP's site, then it sounds like the seller created the label and didn't actually drop it off at the post office yet. If that is on USPS' website, it means USPS has not received the package yet at customs.

    In general though (especially during this time), cheaper shipping methods like SAL will be overlooked for priority shipping methods like EMS. So if you are using a slower method, it will take longer to reach you.

    As far as I am aware, USPS has not yet shut down any of their main facilities. Edit: Nor have their banned packages from outside the country.

    Europe, but all my RSAL tracking #s during the corona crisis have all stayed on Posting/Collecting for about a week before finally changing into Arrival/Dispatch outward office.

    O.M.G. this sounds so scary. I just have my package sent yesterday (Airmail small packet). I'll let you know if it's updated; before it took about 1.5 days to arrive at outward office. :/ So regretting not doing EMS.

    Though I also dont see any notice on Japan Post website about possible delay to US, my proxy did tell me it might take longer than usual. Probably he got warned by the post office personnel idk. :/

    Checked on the post office website, and it's still on collection. The seller was nice enough to tell me she will look into this.

    I can guarantee you the COVID virus would cause delay in shipping time. My EMS parcel did not get dispatched from japan after 6th day of shipment notice. However the parcel did arrive 3 days after.

    Instead of 4 days transit, it took a total of 9 days.

    AmiAmi sent an email saying the workforce was lessened, I think? My EMS package was shipped Wednesday and was at the New York airport this morning (Friday).

    Got a notice from AmiAmi and it seems the US or Japan has stopped all SAL shipments from Japan (to the US anyways). Seems to be why "shipped" items are not updating. Air and EMS seem to be unaffected though. AmiAmi actually changed 1 of my SAL shipments to Air with no additional charge.

    Yes SAL to all destinations has been suspended. As for USA, airmail and EMS are still available but delays should be expected. Both the og and I are using airmail and in my case the package has been in the "posting/collection" state for 1 week now.

    The seller just contacted me back. She said to expect my package to be delayed for a month...looks like it's going to be a birthday present instead.
