[Trading] BattleField Heroes Vol.1-2 - Liyue & Mondstadt Edition

I adore the Mondstadt set of these and was watching for vol 2 Liyue. I'm so happy they were finally listed for preorder at a Japanese retailer! but ouch vol 2 more expensive than vol 1. orz

The rare statues of the seven figures are so cute, but it was too costly to try and pursue them. ^^;;

I accidentally broke Oz's eyebrow off though (I pressed on it pretty hard for some reason I have forgotten.) I have been too lazy to glue it back on. I should do that before I lose it;;;

i also have many experiences with these little things being very fragile; everytime i dust them, klee's left arm somehow gets loose every time ; ;;. i also didn't display diluc's bird piece, the tiny acrylic peg that shoves into his base is a nightmare.

i'm very excited to receive vol. 2 !!! i eagerly await putting tiny ganyu/zhongli with the others. i know the statue(s) go for a lot online, at least as much as a whole set or more, but i can't help but feel cheated if it replaced the characters i want the most lol. at least you can't get dupes in one box though, if that somehow balances it... (´･ω･`);

yeah the bird's peg was hard to insert, and it felt like one of those 'defuse a bomb' scenes in a movie. slowly... careful... 0_0;;

yes vol 2 is much anticipated. this will also be my first merch for Ganyu, Chichi and Keqing! and I'm so excited for the boys since they have action poses ♡ (other merch is more cute style.)

True, I was hoping I wouldn't lose out on an actual character because the statue replaced them. I adore the statue, but it's still just a set piece! not as important as character.

I finally tracked down Diluc for a decent price, but I was so worried I was gonna snap his sword while trying to fit it into his hands. It's definitely a really snug fit. I'm very impressed by the sculpt and paint quality for a trading figure though. I've noticed a lot of CN manufactured trading figures, like those from Popmart, are definitely worth the price they're asking for considering the quality is near flawless.

I wonder when they will eventually release an Inazuma set since I wasn't too interested in the characters included in the Liyue set.

i kind of forgot the Liyue set is supposed to release soon. or soonish. i sure as heck hope we see inazuma and so on.

The full box/individual boxes are still the same size as the Mondstadt edition/vol.1. I had a much easier time putting together vol.2 than I did vol.1. Some things I noticed in comparison for example: Zhongli's hair piece is already stuck to his head yet you have to put Diluc's into his head, and Keqing's lightning bolts are already on her base unlike Klee/Diluc where they both have pieces to put in. Thankfully nobody in vol.2 has separate arms to insert or very delicate pieces to put in anywhere.

I was pretty worried about not getting Zhongli since he was half the reason I bought the whole set, and I thankfully did! However I still ended up getting the Rex Lapis statue instead of Ganyu, who was the other half of the reason _(:3」∠)_... I'm happy I got it but I can't help but be a tiny bit bitter about it lol.

Quality wise, I'm really impressed with vol.2; There's more shading on each character's hair this time around and there weren't any paint flaws/scuffs besides one or two very minor ones. They look pretty similar to their promotional photos and I'm pretty content with them.

I'm not sure if there were common issues relating to vol.1 (I didn't hear any common complaints, but I have a limited range of seeing GI merchandise opinions so who knows), but at least comparing my two sets, they very much improved. Also I'm pretty sure(?) vol.2 was in production for a longer period of time than vol.1, so perhaps they had more time to gather opinions on minor issues.

Besides the improvements with the BHs, I've also seen them improve their packaging for goods in the past. Usually to make it less irksome to take off packaging, like the backside of badges, acrylic protector sheets and etc. They definitely listen to customer complaints, even if it's something simple.

Omg I saw that tweet too LOL I was really tempted to switch Zhongli and Diluc's around but their heads go on super tight to their bodies/bases, so I didn't think about doing it lol

hlj finally got my set of Vol 2 in. if anyone is looking, the set is available for order there rn. it says "Dec release" as if it's a preorder, but I'm pretty sure they just haven't had time yet to update it to "In Stock".
