Lepetit89 (2 months ago) #29744428I have a question about giving away preorders with this store - how would one go about it? I figured the usual way would be to change the delivery address, which does not seem to be possible after an order has been placed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, so thank you in advance.

You'll have to add the new address to your address book and then email customer support with your order number and address change details.

I see, direct contact, that makes sense, thank you!

Out of curiosity, do you have any personal experience with that? Or rather, are they forthcoming with support here, if, for instance, I were to use three different delivery addresses in different countries for different orders (not necessarily at the same time)? Also, can the name of the recipient be changed as well or is that off-limits?

They've changed the shipping address and recipient name for me without any problems. Don't know about changing the address to one in a different country, but their customer support is very helpful so I'm sure they'd be willing to accommodate your request.

Okay, that sounds great, I'll give it a try, thank you very much for your help!

    Hi guys,
I would like to place a pre-order with my debit card.
According to GSC FAQ, they do not accept debit cards at all. But I've read some reviews where people say they're using their debit cards for payment without any issues.
Could anyone here please confirm that? Thanks!

I do. I use it all the time. Whether it’s directly through PayPal or on its own.

Do they charge you anything to confirm your card when you place a pre-order?
I would prefer to pay with my card directly, without PayPal. But all my cards are debit ones. Hope it will work fine!

Nope! They only charge you when the figure is about to come out.

Why does it say directly in the checkout section that debit or check cards are not accepted if they are accepted? I want to place a preorder but I don’t want to end up with problems when the item actually releases.

Hi, I have a question about card payment failure. It's time for GSC to charge my card (debit) for Mirai Miku but I have no money there at the moment. What is going to happen? Will they send me an e-mail with instructions to pay manually or will they recharge my card automatically later or will they cancel my order?

I want to ask a question, will/does GSC replace your item if you buy it from pre-owned shop such as M******ke or J****e? because today I received my nendo snow miku (ITEM #423596) (sealed/unopened) and the moment I opened and grab her from blister, her left pigtail' peg snapped and the broken peg' part stuck inside her head. I already email-ed GSC asking for replacement part. what do you guys think?

They usually don't replace stuff if bought 2nd hand, even if still sealed, or if older than a year, though perhaps they are generous in your case if you're lucky?
Removing a broken peg that's stuck isn't so hard though, here's a guide from gsc themselves about how to fix it:

They decided to send replacement part, guess I'm lucky enough ;^)
I already saw that link before I contacted GSC, but seems too much effort also I dont have those kind needed tools to fix this thing
now my question is, what shipping method they ussually use for send replacement part? I dont mind if they are using SAL or Airmail whatever it is as long as its trackable

Wow, that's nice of them, perhaps it's because it was a wonfes exclusive and still sealed
When I got replacement parts it usually came in a small envelope via registered Sal but I only got swords and very small stuff replaced, perhaps they use a bigger parcel for yours but they will likely still use registered Sal

    Hello there.

I am currently very worried about my package from GSC.
I have purchased nendoroid Erwin Smith and Levi, they got shipped on 22.01.
Now, my last tracking update was on 24.01. with "Dispatch from outward office of exchange"
According to my tracking it hasn't reached Germany yet, which is really unusuall especially with EMS...

I am really scared that it might be lost?

Anyway, I wrote GSC about this two days ago. I didn't get an answer yet... Do they always take so long? :/

Have you tried checking the Tracking # with your local postal carrier?
I've only ordered twice from GSC and ship with EMS, they provided me with a tracking number, and when it leaves the "originating country" it tends to not have any updates until it arrives into your country. At least this is how it was for me, Ordered a nendoroid and was shipped on Dec 28th,2017.
    Dec 30th,2017 - left Japan
    Jan 2nd, 2018 - arrived in Ontario,Canada

The tracking# is known by my local carrier and I already did contact them. They said I need to wait or contact the shipper.

I am just worried because usually it takes only 2 days from Japan to Germany. It never took more than one week with EMS.

    EDIT:
After 2,5 weeks I finally got my package xD
Was a bit too worried I guess.. not used to waiting so long for EMS

Just received my first package from GSC, which contained two of those air pillow packets resting on top of the Nendo box (which was also wrapped in one layer of tissue paper). No protection at the bottom of the package, but thankfully, everything seems to have arrived in pristine condition.

I recall hearing that they've improved their packaging nowadays (mainly in the blogs around here), but I'm not sure if the above described can be considered good. Just looking to inform those who may still be concerned about their packing methods.

Yeah, their packaging still isn't as good as other stores. I compare them to Amazon in terms of packing the boxes. Guess that's we get for flat rate shipping.

I just received my second package from them.

To be honest I was totally shocked as I opened it. Between the box of my figure and the outside box was literally no space. Only on top of my figure were a few air pillows. Nothing around it and not on the ground either.
I don't know how it arrived well ;3
My first one also arrived in perfect condition! (2 Nendos)
